this stupid freaking website keeps deciding not to load my changes. i am thisssss close to just getting a coding app and coding from there cuz what the freak.

election day is tomorrow. No school!!! but also like... why do we get election day off. it's not like we can vote.

loving the atlantic v. pacific ocean beef edits. pacific is kinda eating though. nobody's liking the atlantic so far...

I just went to a sleepover but it was lowkey awkward cuz my friend who was hosting us was like arguing with her parents... like my parents would NOT put up with that man.

i believe i am cursed. i cannot say that i am good at anything. i can only say that i am bad at everything, and that is the only way that i can be good at something. i have had this curse since the summer of 2022, i believe. sad.

the saw movie soundtracks are actually kinda bomb.

also apparently a lot of people think that Saw VI was one of the best movies in the franchise? this guy said that is was the best one out of the whole franchise!!! but then again, lots of people have different opinions when it comes to which Saw movie was better than the other. This is my personal list (even though I've only seen the first 7 movies once + 0.5):

8. Saw 7/3D/The Final Chapter

Should i add my reasons? That might take a while...

1. It's the original. nothing is better than the original.
2. If i was a monster, i might've put this one before the original. but i am not, so the original still stands. very good. also there budget was lowkey 3 million dollars more than the original. Not much. at all. and idek why i like this one so much, but i really really do.
3. I like the FBI characters a lot (especially Strahm. Yeah! Go Strahm!) and idrk why i would put this one so high because in between the first 2 and the last 2 on this list the reasoning and placement gets muddy. However Rigg's trap annoyed me. like, when you see a timer you are literally supposed to do the thing you're supposed to do before the timer runs out. that is what humans have been raised to do. also, it doesn't show Hoffman dying so yeah. t'was eh.
4. This one I liked until I remembered that I didn't. It was like... the traps are good. and the Hoffman-Strahm chase was good. but like... it's just Hoffman's life story. Even though it's good background for the character, idrc that much, dudes! idk. maybe this one goes before the fourth but right now they're kinda tied.
5. I don't like Jeff. A lot of people rate the second one and this one the same, and i get it. They have similar vibes. but also, like... I don't like Jeff. But also, the same guy i talked about before also talked about how he was a grieving father and so was Jigsaw so idrk what he was thinking but whatever. also i dont like amanda. well, i do but like not in this movie. i understand her and i feel really, really bad for everything she's been through but like... idk. i dont like her character.
6. Everyone really likes this movie. some people say it's the best in the franchise. i dont really see how. the one main reason is the traps, because the whole point of a Saw trap is you chose if you live or die, but in this one you dont. someone ELSE chooses, which removes the whole point. same things happen in the 3rd one, and thats also one of the reasons why i dont like the 7th one, but we'll get to that in a second. it also shows why the people were chosen and i thought that was pretty cool but like idk. i didn't like it when that happened because it's been a hot second since all of these people were mean to him. What if they changed? What if they're dead? idk. anything coulda happened. Also, Jill. I don't really like Jill. But she had literally a SINGLE JOB which was to kill Hoffman with the reverse bear trap 2.0 and she frEAKING FAILS. ONE JOB. LITERALLY ONE. There's also probably more but idrk i'll come back to that later ig.
7. Very good short film. If this was a stand-alone short film, I would be obsessed. But is this a good Saw film? Nope. But also you gotta cut them slack cuz like they had a $2,000 budget or whatever, and they had no actors and it's not REALLY a film, it's an introduction. But still. Not great.
8. Oh my god. This is so bad. I don't care how bad the other ones are because I will always place this one at the bottom. It is a disgrace to not only the entire Saw franchise, including the movies to come, but it is a disgrace to the entire movie industry. I have too many problems so i will make another list I'm sorry:
• Hoffman personality switch-up. So let me get one thing straight: I don't like Hoffman. I don't know why people like him. I mean, I kinda do, but that still doesn't make me like him. But in this movie he is perceived in the way that the other movies were avoiding to perceive him as; a bloodthristy, homocidal monster. Let me get another thing straight: he is NOT a bloodthirsty, homocidal monster. He is an actual guy with an actual life with actual feelings. He is a very complicated character with many variables and many things to think about. But this movie scraps all of that, and instead sells him as a guy who likes killing people. Not only with the weird Jill-Hoffman chase (which was also really stupid, by the way), but also with this whole other backstory that he killed this homeless man who was attacking Gibson??? Again, he is not a bloodthirsty, homocidal monster, but is actually a guy with an actual life. That drove me crazy.
• the big reveal! ...That everyone was going to guess anyway. It would've been SO MUCH BETTER if Dr. Gordan didn't show up in the rest of the movie because then it would've been less obvious. However, sadly, I like that he showed up in the meeting. That was honestly really cool. But sadly, it would've been a lot better without that scene...
• three plot points??? In the other 6 movies (not including the first one), there is a common theme. This theme is that there are two major plot points; The sets of traps, and the main plot. But in this movie, there are three; the sets of traps (Bobby Dagen's traps), the main plot (Gibson trying to find where Hoffman was), and the Hoffman-Jill chase. First off, the sets of traps were literally so isolated from the rest of the movie that it could've BEEN it's own movie, since the agents weren't actually trying to figure out where the sets of traps were taking place, but instead were trying to figure out where Hoffman was. Also, like... idk. it was so bad.
• car trap? gibson? Who's Gibson??? Why not add a character that has already shown up or something? I know they're all dead, but just pull another Lindsey Perez and bring one of them to life again coughcoughstrahmcoughcough (i know he got squished before our eyes but yall need to trust). Also, why were the people focusing more on that dumb, out-of-place car traps instead of the GIANT STRING OF TRAPS IS GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME AS THIS!!!!
• the traps. Holy shat are these traps bad. I would add on but I REALLY don't want to.
• machine gun???? Sorry this isn't really a big thing but like why is there a machine gun? Where did that come from?
• why did the bodies change. another stupid thing. but like, did anyone else catch that? that the girl's body that Hoffman pretended was him in that room was actually completely wrong? If it was the actual girl's body, it would've been smushed. But it's jaw and arms were torn off... kinda like how that OTHER guy was killed. Or maybe i wasn't paying attention idk.

yeah. Saw 7 is not good.

also, I know this is random but i wanted to say it for a while. Anyway, I always thought of the Saw movies in like, 6 sections. (sorry guys another list)

1. Section 1. i couldn't think of a good name for this one. This section contains only the first Saw, since it was so much different from all the other ones.
2. Yellow section. this section contains II and III. idk. They have similar vibes and are like... yellow. Y'know?
3. Blue-grey section. this section contains IV, V, and VI. they are just blue-grey. also, these are nicknamed by me the "Hoffman Films" because they're pretty much just 3 movies about Hoffman.
4. Section 4. Couldn't think of a name for this one either. It contains only the 7th one, because that one was also very different from the other ones.
5. Flashbacks Section. this section contains Jigsaw and Spiral. Even though I haven't seen these two, i know that they are about Jigsaw or whoever's backstory or something. Also, like, they also have similar vibes.
6. New Section. this section contains only Saw X for now (until XI comes out in 327 days!!! Eek!!!). even though i haven't seen this one either, i am very aware that it is the first one in a hot second that is an ACTUAL Saw movie.

also, this is a random PSA by Radioactive Lead Poisoning, but like, it is not Saw X (pronounced: Saw Eks), it is Saw X (pronounced: Saw Ten). please call it Saw X. It's driving me crazy.

I forgot Halloween... :(

I am very tired from last night. woke up feeling like a character in a low-budget indie horror Wes Anderson-type movie. like one where the title pops up in this bland ass font and its like one 4 letter word long. like. imma try to find something gimme a sec.

kinda like that. do you see what I'm getting at?

like, i will wake up, and i will be tangled up in my bedsheets. I get up, put my clothes on, eat some cereal, and go immediately to my computer. Then it will be a shot as if the viewer was my computer, watching me type but not knowing what. then the camera will cut to right behind me, showing my whole body sitting in a chair, typing on my computer, from semi-far away. then some words pop up. Something lame like "Jake" or a name or something, which is also the name of the movie. Then the movie is about the main character trying to find themselves, and the only way they can do that is by pretending that they are someone else online and then telling them to go somewhere or something and yeah idrk what else. Not murderer. Confuserer. Indeed!!! Confuserer! She will pretend she is someone named "Jake" and proceed to track them down and tell them to go somewhere, and then tell then (as someone else) that "Jake" died two or three years ago. Then the victim will be confused... Sehr, sehr verwirrt. And then they will be scared... who was calling them? Who is... "Jake"? They will try to ask, but Jake will not respond. He already found someone else. But they don't know that, so they will be even more scared.

They should hire me at Paramount.

ok now nothing decides to work.

I tried to make the 6th heading or whatever turn into normal green text but it isnt working for whatever reason. this happened yesterday with another thing and how i fixed it was sleeping and checking it in the morning. Blarg.

I had a Halloween party last night. Did I tell you that I love Halloween!!! Because I really do. I went as Adam Stanheight and nobody knew who I was but whatever and I smelled like hairspray because the blood on the shirt was literal temporary red hairspray. but i still kinda ate it up.

I'm listening to the Saw II and III soundtracks rn. they definitely have the best soundtracks, even though i haven't listened to any of them except the first half of the first one, the second one, the third one, and half of the fourth one. Those were not good. Understandably, the first one is most Charlie Clouser because they didn't really have a budget and, although i can listen to it every now and then, I don't really like his stuff. I mean, don't get me wrong, the themesong is freaking epic. but like... i wouldn't listen to that voluntarily. like, if it turns on im listening to it but im not gonna turn it on myself. but with the fourth one... idek. I listen to the first 4 songs and kinda liked them but like... i wouldn't listen to a whole soundtrack of that. Y'know?

I want to have one of those audio things in the top left hand corner. to make it look really tacky.
